We're a startup with roots in Gera and big plans – with innovative products for the food market. Last year, we launched production of our absolute world first: Our fresh "Dönerback" (doner bake), the first home-baked doner kebab. Our order books are full. Our facilities are ready. Now we need reinforcements for our team and are therefore looking for... for our location in Korbußen.

a Field Sales Representative (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Customer Acquisition and Customer Service

  • Actively acquiring new customers as well as maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Maintaining and intensifying relationships with existing customers (e.g., supermarkets, delicatessens, etc.)
  • Building and maintaining a network of decision-makers and buyers

Product Presentation and Consulting

  • Presenting and presenting food products to customers, including product demonstrations and tastings
  • Advising customers on product properties, quality characteristics, and possible uses
  • Answering inquiries regarding special requirements, such as organic quality, proof of origin, or sustainability certificates

Achieving sales and distribution goals

  • Responsibility for the implementation of defined sales goals and sales targets in the sales territory
  • Conducting sales negotiations as well as preparing and tracking offers
  • Supporting the design and implementation of sales promotion measures (e.g., special promotions, placements)

Market and competitor monitoring

  • Continuous monitoring of market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities
  • Identifying trends and potential in the food product sector in order to capitalize on market developments at an early stage
  • Forwarding market information and customer feedback to product management

Planning, reporting, and documentation

  • Structured planning and organization of customer visits in the sales territory
  • Documentation of visits and sales activities as well as regular reporting to sales management
  • Participation in sales meetings and training measures for Product knowledge and sales techniques

  • Hamburg
  • Hanover
  • Austria (Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Graz, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Sales experience: Several years of field sales experience, ideally in the food sector
  • Industry knowledge: Knowledge of the food industry and understanding of quality and hygiene requirements
  • Commercial training: Completed commercial training or comparable qualification; a degree in business administration or food technology is an advantage
  • Communication and negotiation skills: Excellent communication skills, strong customer focus and negotiation skills
  • Personal responsibility and organization: Highly self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Technical skills: Confident use of MS Office and CRM software for managing customer contacts and data
  • Willingness to travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory
  • Driver's license: Valid Class B driver's license
